Skin lightening cream or soap?

i'm black and my skin gets REALLY dark in the summer...do you know of any skin lightening soap or cream that is sold over the counter that will make my complexion pretty and light? thanks soooo much

i understand that black is a great color, but i just don't want to get too dark..its not pretty to meSkin lightening cream or soap?
I turn a dark bronze myself and I avoid the sun like the plauge, i highly recomment using the highest spf sunscreen available. I went to Orlando last year and used one and did not turn one shade darker, whereas I tan in 15 minutes cutting my grass. If you need to lighten dark knees and elbows for example, black soap has helped me tremendously and you use it in the shower everyday and you will notice a difference after a couple weeks or so. Good luck! myspace .com/takihendrixmusicSkin lightening cream or soap?
You should try, ashe' skin lightening cream its from india and it can be used anywhere on the body it contains multi-vitamins and also collagen. Or if you would like to go herbal you can try saffron powder which you can purchase from any indian shop. the formula is saffron powder or 'hardi' then mix it with a little lime juice and milk. This is a skin treatment to lightnen and cleanse at the same time. Leave it until it forms a mask or crust on the skin then gently rinse off. Good luck from your friendly Beauty Advisor Shelly Bridgelal of Trinidad.
Black is beautiful...but hey, what do i know eh? You see, the tricky thing about skin lightening/whitening soaps and lotions or whatnot...they tend to be dangerous. You'd think that ppl would learn from the Romans (who use to apply mercury to their skin to lighten it)...that if it caused nerve damage and skin abnormalities then...chances are...it still does!

Anywho, if you want to keep your skin from darkening any more than it naturally is...you might wanna limit/avoid exposure to the sun. 'Cause, even though sunblock protects you against the damaging effect that the sun causes (aka photo aging, cancer, etc...) it doesn't prevent tanning. It just doesn't cause you to bake as quickly as if you went out without protection.

If you're not happy with how dark you are by the end of the summer...or you just want to prevent some of it from happening. Just use a lotion with AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) or Vitamin C...or even both (if that exists) It's natural...and it's safe. If you want to find out more about why these two ingredients would work...Google it. Peace.

whether you use soap or lotions or creams, they all work depending on the ingredients and how your skin reacts to them.. there are skin lightening products sold online that have hydroquinone or mercury and you should refrain from using them because they can cause skin cancer..

papain extract, licorice and kojic acid work best and are safe for long term use.. they are derived from natural plant ingredients.. if you want more information plus tips on how to achieve your goal right, i found the right products here -
yeah, just use ALOT of sunscreen. use it like it was body lotion, and put it n after every shower and before u leave da house =]
