Help please! Ciclopirox skin cream?

my dermatologist prescribed me this cream for sunspots, birthmarks etc. i live on an island were i have constant sun exposure.





i googled and looked up information on this cream and it said it was for fungus, athletes foot, yeast, and other stuff like this


will this cream work for what i need it to?
