Someone told me to use SPF cream to get softer facial skin...but I live in england, it's never sunny!?

Can someone explain why I have been told to use this stuff?Someone told me to use SPF cream to get softer facial skin...but I live in england, it's never sunny!?
Even though it isn't sunny the UVA and UVB rays that cause skin damage still come through the clouds. Using the sunscreen will protect your skin from that and make it stop aging as quickly! :DSomeone told me to use SPF cream to get softer facial skin...but I live in england, it's never sunny!?
just because it isnt sunny dosent mean that uv rays cannot affect your skin. spf does not only make your skin softer but stops the cause of wrinkles, skin cancer and dehydration

its the best stuff and now is tinted aswell so you can faux a tan =] try avene tinted spf 50+....used it on my europena holiday best thing i bought

xx
oh, it may not look like it, but it's always sunny honey! england or anywhere else.

just because the skies aren't blue doesn't mean those harmful rays can't work their way down to destroy your lovely skin...they can!

it terms of using an spf cream...many face creams and lotions now come with spf already in them.

goodbye, good luck, stay young and healthy!

melanoma sucks!!!!!!!
Uhh it's never sunny, that must be really sad.

Anyway, even if the sun it's not sparkling out in sky, does not mean that it's not there, the sun does not go anywhere, and uva rays are there too, and if you have very fair skin you still need to protect it.
Sunny or not you should use sunscreen every day. It keeps you skin from damaging. It prevents those spots on peoples skin when they get older. Sunscreen helps alot. For softer skin just wash your face every night.
UV rays cant be seen, even on the days with no sun, you can still get burned. It's like saying...I'm not going to breathe becuase I cant see the oxygen.
Never sunny?

What part of England do you live in then?
